The Johnston Family Legacy
Modern tartans popularity began to accelerate in the 1950s with new designs covering a much broader range of themes being introduced, which include ‘corporate’ and ‘fashion’ tartans.
What also makes the tartan extra special is that each pattern of tartan is a ‘Signature’representing the name of the family or organisation it is registered to. We have designed and introduced many new tartans for Australia. These tartans have all been registered with the ‘Scottish Register of Tartans’ and accredited by their organisations. These include the National, State, Corporate, Military, District and Family tartans.
